Sailor Piece Runes Guide: Dungeon Farming + How to Pick Your Rune

Runes are passive multipliers you equip for permanent build power. Learn how rune dungeon access works, how rune leveling is done, and how to choose the right rune based on your current route.

Fast rune checklist (safe + efficient)

Step 1

Identify your current bottleneck: damage speed, farming drops, survivability, or PvP control. 2) Choose one primary rune to equip (one slot). 3) Unlock Rune Dungeon via the Dungeon Master chain on Dungeon Island. 4) Run the dungeon on a difficulty you can clear consistently; higher difficulty improves rewards. 5) Collect duplicate copies of the same rune to level it toward 50. 6) When the rune power jump is ready, push your next boss/PvP loop so the multiplier actually pays off.

Make dungeon runs feel easy

  • Pick one rune goal first (damage, luck farming, tank comfort, or PvP control).
  • Run the dungeon on a difficulty you can clear reliably, not “as fast as possible”.
  • Level by duplicates of the same rune type, then push the next upgrade loop right away.
  • If you keep wasting time, it usually means your route is missing a supporting system (Haki / weapons / race fit).
Rune leveling loop (duplicates -> levels)

Rune experience is gained by combining duplicates of the same rune type. Runes level from 1 to 50, so the long-term strategy is to run the dungeon repeatedly until your target rune is ready for the next scaling step.

FAQ

Can I get runes anywhere besides Rune Dungeon?

No. Rune drops come exclusively from Rune Dungeon. That means your rune plan is mainly about routing + repeated runs.

What rune should I chase first?

Start with the rune that matches your current goal: damage to speed up boss clears, Fortune to improve farming drops, or HP/damage reduction if your route keeps breaking under boss pressure.

Why do duplicates matter so much?

Runes level by combining duplicates of the same rune type. Getting copies is what turns “I have a rune” into “my rune actually scales”.

Should I raise dungeon difficulty immediately?

Only if you can still clear consistently. If you start failing runs, your “time per reward” gets worse. Consistency beats risky speed.

Do runes replace my fruit/sword?

No. Runes are a multiplier layer. They feel strongest when your fruit + sword + route already works—then runes make that route hit harder and last longer.
